 RELAY FOR LIFE: Lee’s Famous Recipe Day

The Living Strong team will sponsor Lee’s Famous Recipe Day on Feb. 21. A portion of the profits go toward the team goal. This team also has purple-and-white baseball shirts with “Friends Don’t Let Friends Fight Cancer Alone” on the front; $12 each with an additional charge for shirts larger than XL. UPTON LODGE: Fish fry

Upton Masonic Lodge #749 F&AM will hold a fish fry 5:30-8 p.m. Feb. 22. Fish dinner, fries, hush puppies and coleslaw for $6 or fish sandwich and beverage for $3.50. The lodge is located at 315 Grayson St., Upton. From Elizabethtown, take I-65 south to exit 78, turn right at stop sign. The road forks in town. Turn right on U.S. 31W, go up the hill about 300 feet and turn left across railroad tracks. The lodge is on the left after crossing the tracks.

Benefit for The McCubbins Family

Haskell and Annette McCubbins (The McCubbins Family gospel singers) lost their Hart County home to fire on Jan. 6. A benefit concert will be held 6 p.m. Feb. 23 at Immanuel Ministries Church, 3232 Legrande Hwy., Horse Cave. The church is located three miles east of U.S. 31E on Hwy. 218. HOSPARUS: Bluegrass music festival in Vine Grove

The Vine Grove Bluegrass Jam Scramble will be held 6 p.m. March 1 at Vine Grove City Hall, 300 W. Main St. Featured artists include McDonald Road Bluegrass and Tommy Brown and County Line Grass. There will be a potluck, door prizes, raffles, a silent auction and a “Gents vs. Ladies Change Drive.” Proceeds benefit Hosparus. For information, call Bobby Smith at (270) 300-1316.

Hosparus Central Kentucky will host a tea and auction 2-4 p.m. March 16 at Severns Valley Baptist Church, 1100 Ring Road, Elizabethtown. Tickets are $30.
