Remember the quality of your frozen produce is only as good as the quality of the fresh product you are using, so select only tender, freshly gathered corn. Husk and trim the ears, remove silks and wash.
To freeze corn on the cob, place cobs in simmering water to blanch them; this stops the ripening enzymes. The amount of time recommended for the blanching process depends on the size of the ear of corn.
