Eleven members of the Western Kentucky University forensic team – including a LaRue County High School alumnus – traveled to Berea to take part in two tournaments Oct. 22-23.
Ellis Fraser, a freshman from Hodgenville, was semifinalist in prose interpretation.
WKU advanced all students to elimination rounds and collected three individual championships. WKU also received second place in team sweepstakes in the portion of the tournament hosted by the University of the Cumberlands and third place in the Berea portion.
