Four local racers honored at Bluegrass Speedway

Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown honored a quartet of racers from LaRue County for their efforts during the just completed racing campaign.

Elton Martin of Hodgenville finished fifth in the final track points for the WBRT 1320-AM Sportsman division. Martin totaled three top five feature event finishes behind the wheel of the Russell Martin owned Olds Cutlass.

Nathan Wells of Magnolia finished ninth in the final track points for the WBRT 1320-AM Sportsman division. Wells scored two top five feature event finishes over the course of 2008 in limited action aboard his Chevy Monte Carlo.

Jason Priddy of Upton finished second in the final Street Stock division track points. Priddy scored a pair of victories and totaled eight top five feature event finishes in his Chevy Impala.

Shane Lafollette of Hodgenville finished ninth in the final Street Stock division track points. Lafollette, a third generation racer, garnered four top five feature finishes in the David Copley owned Ford Thunderbird machine.
