Former employee files suit against Signature

 A former employee of Sunrise Manor Nursing Home has filed a civil suit in LaRue Circuit Court against Signature HealthCare.

Diane Roberts, who was employed at the facility for 34 years, according to the suit, claims she was promised that she would be retained as director of nursing after the nursing home was leased to Signature HealthCare. She claims she worked as director of nursing since 2005, and further, that she was terminated without prior notice.
