An Elizabethtown woman is charged with theft by unlawful taking after allegedly taking more than $17,000 from her employer.
The case against Jennifer Rose Priddy, 29, a former bookkeeper for local dentist Douglas L. Baumgardner, will be heard by a LaRue County grand jury.
Priddy is accused of taking $17,032.42 from the practice over a three-year period.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 30 in LaRue District Court; however, midway through the testimony, Priddy’s attorney, Dwight Preston, requested the matter be heard by the grand jury instead.
