Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash about 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at the end of Lincoln Parkway at the intersection of Ky. 1618 and Campbellsville Road.

An Equinox van driven by Amanda Tackore, 41, of Canmer, was stopped at the intersection and pulled into the path of a Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by Stephanie Ridings, 29, of Hodgenville. The pickup struck the van and both vehicles came to rest in the middle of the roadway.

Emergency crews extricated the injured and assisted with traffic control.

Tackore was flown to University of Louisville Hospital. A hospital representative did not show a patient listing for her Monday. Her passengers, Johnny Spence, 24, of Elizabethtown, and Rodney Bains, 12, of Canmer, were transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by LaRue County EMS.

Ridings and her passenger, Shawn Russelburg, 33, of Hodgenville, were also transported to HMH. They were treated and released.
