LaRue County will soon erect a 250-foot radio communications tower that Emergency Management Director Chris Jackson says will provide better signals and a greater transmitting and receiving radius.
Tommy Turner, LaRue County judge-executive, informed fiscal court magistrates meeting at the courthouse in Hodgenville April 24 that the tower, scheduled to be operational by July 1 on county road department property off 31-E, will also be more cost effective.
