Mike Cottrell, director of LaRue County’s emergency medical service, informed LaRue County Fiscal Court that his department has applied with the Kentucky EMS board to be a teaching educational institute.
“This lets us hold first-responder, EMT and continuing education classes right here at our facility,” Cottrell told magistrates meeting at the courthouse in Hodgenville March 27.
He said the application has passed and his facility is awaiting inspection in April.
