Fiscal Court gets update of storm-damage totals

LaRue County Judge-Executive Tommy Turner told LaRue Fiscal Court that about 1,000 cubic yards – about 30 dump-truck loads – of ice storm-damaged limbs and brush have been dropped off at the disposition site at LaRue County fairgrounds.

During its Feb. 24 meeting at the courthouse, Fiscal Court decided to clean up some aspects of its zoning ordinance and established a reimbursement policy for medical care at the jail.
