LaRue County Judge-executive Tommy Turner told magistrates meeting at the courthouse in Hodgenville May 8 that core drilling has been conducted for erection of a communications tower on county road department property off U.S. 31-E.
“Once the results of these tests come back, we can proceed with the tower,” Turner said.
Chris Jackson, emergency management director, said the 250-foot tower will provide improved transmission and reception service for his office and first responders.
