Fire destroys farm house

Firefighters fought limited water resources as they battled a Monday morning blaze that destroyed a farm house at 60 Grover Thompson Road, in the eastern corner of the county, near the Taylor and Green county lines. Dispatchers reported the fire was almost fully engulfed before firefighters reached the scene, sometime around 11:30 a.m.
