Festival of Trees celebration ends Nov. 20 with silent auction and dinner

Set-up for the fifth annual Festival of Trees is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 11 in the Lincoln Museum Community Room.

Participating organizations may decorate a holiday tree, wreath, garland or banner or similar item and enter it on display for silent auction. The silent auction ends 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20. Proceeds from the sale go to the sponsoring not-for-profit group. Individuals and businesses may also participate if proceeds from the sale are given directly to a specified charity.

The trees exhibit will be open for viewing and bidding 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 13; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 18-19; and 10:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 when bidding will close.

The Hodgenville Woman’s Club will offer a dinner of soup, sandwich and dessert in the Community Room 5-7 p.m. Nov. 20.

The event is sponsored by the Hodgenville Main Street/Renaissance Association, LaRue County Chamber of Commerce, the Lincoln Museum and the City of Hodgenville.
