The Future Business Leaders of America Club at LCHS competed in Regional Conference at Western Kentucky University Feb. 25. The FBLA Regional Conference recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas. At the FBLA Conferences, students compete in events testing their business knowledge and skills. Each event is governed by specific guidelines and rating sheets. Competitive events fall into three categories: individual, team and chapter. Twenty students from the LCHS FBLA Chapter competed in several business events. Students who placed first, second or third will compete at the FBLA State Conference April 15-17. If they win at State they will have a chance to compete at the National FBLA Conference, July 14-17 in Nashville, Tenn.
