An Ohio driver making a U-turn Saturday morning on the Blue Grass Parkway turned into the path of a car being driven by a Hodgenville woman driving to Frankfort. The 74-year-old father died in the crash, Kentucky State Police report.
The fatal collision occurred at 8:05 a.m. Saturday four miles east of Elizabethtown.
James H. Brown of Hodgenville was dead at the scene. The cause of death was massive head trauma, said Kenneth Spangenberger, chief deputy coroner of Hardin County. He said the car’s roof collapsed onto Brown.
