Farmers eligible for disaster loan assistance

 Ninety Kentucky counties are eligible for FSA emergency loans.

Sixty-eight counties have been declared as disaster areas due to damages and looses caused by drought that began April 1.

Twenty-seven counties, including LaRue, were named as contiguous counties where eligible family farmers may qualify for FSA EM loan assistance pursuant to Section 321(a) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act.
