Beef Master Marketer
The first session of the three county Master Marketer program will be 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Hardin County Extension office. Additional sessions will be Sept. 26 and Oct. 3, 17 and 24.  A wide range of topics that affect livestock marketing concepts will be covered in the five sessions. A $75 registration per person will cover course materials, meals and out-of-state speaker expense. Contact the LaRue Extension office at 270-358-3401 to register.

Bacon Creek Community Roundtable
A Bacon Creek Community Roundtable will be 6 p.m. (central time) Sept. 23 at Bonnieville City Hall, 7775 N. Dixie Hwy., Bonnieville, to celebrate the Watershed Council’s hard work, to get a copy of the entire watershed plan and watch a video. Goat and Sheep meeting
The LaRue Goat and Sheep Producers will meet 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the LaRue County Extension office. A meal will be served first. The program will begin at 7 p.m. with a short informational session given by Denise Martin, who will discuss her chevon product marketing experiences, “Value Added Goat Meat Products, a Step-by-Step Journey.” There will also be a discussion on hosting a Master Goat and Sheep Producers course in 2014. All interested individuals are invited.

Breast Cancer Awareness Truck and Tractor Pull
The Burger King Breast Cancer Awareness Truck and Tractor Pull will be 7 p.m. Oct. 11 and 6 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. To sign up, call Tim Hornback at 270-300-8636.
