E'town man dies in crash

An Elizabethtown man died as a result of injuries suffered in a single-ehicle crash Monday.

About 8:45 a.m., a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Marshall H. Cox, 62, was traveling east on KY 210 when it ran off the left shoulder of the roadway, striking a tree.

The airbag was deployed. Cox was not wearing a seatbelt and was dead at the scene.

The crash is being investigated by Trooper Brian Mouser.
