Applications accepted for Brian Jennemann Memorial Scholarship

By The Staff

The Community Foundation of Louisville is accepting applications to the Brian Jennemann Memorial Scholarship Fund, a perpetual endowment fund created by Brian’s parents to honor his life and commitment to helping others. On July 20, 2001, he died after a brief battle with meningococcal meningitis. He was an emergency medical technician with the Jefferson County Emergency Medical Services.

The scholarship awards four grants annually of up to $1,500 each. Applicants must be 18 years or older and accepted into a certified paramedic training program. Grants will be paid directly to an educational institution, fire department, city, county, municipality or other organization that offers a licensed, certified paramedic training program.

To be considered, a completed application form, plus all required documents and attachments, must be received or postmarked by no later than July 15. The required application form may be printed directly from www.cflouisville.org. To receive an application form by mail, or for more details, contact Gail Sanders at (502) 585-4649 or gails@cflouisville.org.
