ELECTION: Polling places to change

If you’re a registered LaRue County voter, chances are your polling place has changed for the Nov. 8 General Election.
LaRue County Clerk Linda Carter said a representative of the Kentucky Disabilities Coalition found that some of the local polling places were not fully handicapped accessible. Requirements regarding  van accessibility in parking lots, ramps and handrails were too stringent for some of the older buildings.
There were other problems as well. Most of the polls were located inside the LaRue County Courthouse and at times, were overly crowded.
