ON EDUCATING LARUE: Program helps students, families plan for careers

 LaRue County Middle School is in the early planning stage for Operation Preparation, a program designed to inform students and parents on how important it is for pupils to plan early for their career choices.

The initiative, a joint effort of the Kentucky Department of Education and the state Department of Workforce Development, gives the schools, their students and parents, and the communities they live in an opportunity to receive effective advising, as well as let students focus their attention on planning for their future.
