-A A +A

Also, an Education Night event is scheduled Nov. 25 in Bardstown

By The Staff

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College is offering employees of Clayton Homes the opportunity to take two free classes in February. They can choose from eight classes, including computers for beginners and Microsoft Excel.

To register for the classes, employees can contact Angela Dorrough at (270) 706-8724 or e-mail adorrough0001@kctcs.edu.

Clayton employees also are welcome to attend a special event from 5:30 to 7p.m. Nov. 25 at the Bardstown Civic Center, 321 S. Third St., Bardstown. The Education Night will offer information on financial aid and educational requirements for jobs available in the area. There will be time for one-on-one discussion.

These programs are part of the college's reaction to the announcement last month that Clayton will close its Hodgenville manufacturing plant.
