Elizabethtown Community and Technical College will host a forum 7 p.m. July 28 for parents and guardians of students attending the college this fall. The forum will last about one hour.
This will be an evening of information, storytelling and tips for parents who want to learn more about the college experience their child is about to enter in the fall. Parents and guardians of currently or previously enrolled students are also welcome.
On hand will be ECTC experts in such fields as financial aid, campus safety, counseling, academic advising, veterans affairs, study skills and time management. Also featured will be presentations on such topics as “Career Counseling for Undecided Majors” and “The Bookstore as a Resource Center.” There will be opportunities for parents and students to ask questions.
Parents and guardians are invited to bring their college-bound students and join the ECTC faculty and staff for this informative evening. Light refreshments will be served outside Room 212 in the Regional Postsecondary Center.
