A LaRue County grand jury on June 18 indicted a Hodgenville man on four felony counts after he allegedly abducted and attempted to rape a 10-year-old girl in a wooded area, before trying to snap her neck.
Jetto Dye, 28, is scheduled to be arraigned July 2 in LaRue Circuit Court. He faces felony charges for kidnapping, attempted murder, attempted first-degree rape (victim under age 12) and first-degree sexual abuse. He also faces a misdemeanor charge for resisting arrest.
A LaRue Circuit judge has set bail at $500,000.
