One lane of Greensburg Road in Mount Sherman was closed several hours Sunday as crews worked to clear a roll of steel that broke loose from a tractor-trailer. According to LaRue County Deputy Doug Sherrard, James Davis, 27, from Greensburg, was driving south on Greensburg Road. The vehicle struck some loose gravel at the intersection with Mount Sherman Road. The load shifted, causing the tractor- trailer to flip on its side. Davis was not injured. Buffalo firefighters assisted with cleanup and traffic control. Commercial Vehicle Enforcement and LaRue County EMS also responded to the scene. Two wreckers from Nalls’ Wrecker Service were used to clear the wreck. The road reopened about 5 p.m.
