Individuals in LaRue County are eligible to receive disaster relief from the federal government. The county has been approved also for public assistance in the wake of the May flood. Public assistance covers repair of bridges and sewers and non-profit agency loss.
LaRue County Judge/Executive Tommy Turner said it was “great news for the county as it will allow us to address the issues created by the flooding. It’s also great for the citizens who lost personal belongings or had property damage due to the flooding.”
