 Hardin & LaRue Diabetes Coalition

The Hardin & LaRue Diabetes Coalition will meet 6 p.m. Nov. 13 at the LaRue County Extension Office, Old E’town Road, Hodgenville. It is open to anyone with interest in early diagnosis, reduction of complications, prevention and elimination of diabetes. Managing meals

Have you been told you have diabetes, need to lose weight or just need to learn how to eat healthy? The program “Managing Your Meals” will be 1:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Lincoln Trail District Health Department, 108 New Glendale Road, Elizabethtown. The initial class will go over how to follow a meal plan and gather necessary information to develop a meal plan for each individual.

Registration is required by calling 270-769-1601, Ext. 1035.

Time and date are subject to change and group will not meet if Hardin or LaRue County Schools are closed for weather.


Diabetes Lunch and Learn

A “Diabetes Lunch and Learn” session is noon-1 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Hardin County Public Library Community Room, 100 Jim Owen Drive, Elizabethtown.


FREE CLASSES: Diabetes A-Z Series

Learn to manage diabetes in a series of free classes 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. each day on Thursdays, Nov. 1 and 8 at the LaRue County Extension Office. Different subjects will be covered in each class.

Registration is required by calling 270-358-3401. Classes will be cancelled if Hardin County or LaRue County schools are closed for weather.
