A Hodgenville Police Officer who was killed in a car crash during a pursuit in September 2012 will be honored with a service at Hodgenville City Hall followed by a dedication of a flagpole in his name at the Hodgenville Police Department.

Hodgenville City Hall received a donation from Modern Woodmen, which funded the purchase and placement of a flagpole at Hodgenville Police Department.

“The Department needed a flagpole and it only made sense to dedicate it to Officer Mark Taulbee,” Hodgenville Police Chief Marcus Jackson said.
