Deadline for summer youth employment program extended

The application deadline for the GEL-IN Summer Youth Employment Program has been extended to Friday, June 5. GEL-IN, administered by the Lincoln Trail Workforce Investment Board, focuses on green initiatives, entrepreneurial spirit and leadership. Young people ages 16 to 24 and Workforce Investment Act eligible are encouraged to apply. The project start date is June 22 and will run through July 31.

Participants will be paid $7.25 per hour for their work.
