LaRue County has a new clothing store.

D&A Clothing, named for owners Debra and Anthony Atwell, held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday afternoon. The event was sponsored by the LaRue County Chamber of Commerce.

The Atwells said they are excited to be part of the Hodgenville/LaRue County area, and welcome everyone to come in and see their new store.

“We have fallen in love with this community and are very excited to be part of this area,” Debra Atwell said.

D&A Clothing features new clothing, shoes, handbags and gift items for children, teens and adults.

Anthony Atwell is originally from Barbados and is a 13-year United States Air Force veteran. Debra Atwell was born and raised in Fort Knox and is glad to return to this area.

Their grandson, Ja’Juan Scott, plays for the LaRue County Middle School basketball team.
