Antique auto enthusiasts are asking downtown businesses to consider extending hours during monthly car shows on Lincoln Square.

The Goodtime Cruisers Car Club is coming off its largest cruise-in in the local organization’s eight-year history. The August event attracted 126 vintage vehicles, said Scott Gardner, club president. Shopping opportunities or other activities around the square would enhance the free exhibition and the event delivers potential customers.
