Crashes keep officer busy

A series of wrecks has kept LaRue County Deputy Matt Darst busy the last two weeks.

On March 10, he responded to three vehicular accidents.

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at a Buffalo intersection about 4:35 p.m. A 2003 Hyundai passenger car driven by Janet Higgason, 64, of Hodgenville, was attempting to make a left turn from Ferrill Hill Road onto Ky. 470. The Hyundai turned into the path of a 1989 Chevrolet S-10 pickup driven by Steve McCoy, 45, of Hodgenville.

There was extensive front-end damage to both vehicles.
