Probable cause found
Jonathon Ray Ambrose, 31, of Hodgenville, was charged with first-degree possession of controlled substance (cocaine) and buy or possession of drug paraphernalia April 1 by Hodgenville City Police.
A preliminary hearing was held April 13 in LaRue District Court. District Judge C. Derek Reed found probable cause and sent the case to the grand jury.
Ambrose was lodged in the LaRue County Detention Center under $9,500 full cash bond.
Bond modified
Bond for Travis Strader (1971) was modified April 4 in LaRue Circuit Court. His bond was set at $25,000 cash or property.
Cultivation of marijuana
Christopher P. Sinclair (1967) pleaded guilty to one count of cultivation of marijuana, five or more plants, April 4 in LaRue Circuit Court. Recommended sentence was one year. Probation opposed.
Final sentencing is June 6.
Pay or stay
Travis Hall of New Haven was ordered to serve 179 days or pay $75 April 4 in LaRue Circuit Court. He is accused of burglary and complicity. A new trial date was set for July 13.
Promoting contraband
Jeremy L. Stillwell, 24, of Buffalo, was charged with possession of marijuana and buy or possession of drug paraphernalia April 8 by the LaRue County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged later with first-degree promoting contraband after allegedly attempting to introduce marijuana into the LaRue County Detention Center. His bond was set at $9,500 unsecured.
