Probation violations
Charles W. McLain (1991) admitted to probation violations Jan. 7 in LaRue Circuit Court. He had received a five-year suspended, probated sentence in 2012 after being charged with defrauding a secured creditor. He served 28 days and was ordered to pay restitution of $3,033.75.
Failed to appear
Ronnie Dale Hall Jr. failed to appear Feb. 4 in LaRue Circuit Court. A bench warrant was issued and he was declared a fugitive. He is charged with flagrant nonsupport.
Conditional discharge
Steven D. Harmon (1983) pleaded guilty to several counts Feb. 4 in LaRue Circuit Court. He entered a plea to one count of fleeing or evading police, second degree, with a recommended sentence of 12 months; resisting arrest, with a recommended sentence of six months; and alcohol intoxication in a public place with a recommended fine of $50. All time to run concurrently for 12 months, conditionally discharged. He was fined $465 and ordered to serve 30 days in jail. Final sentencing conducted.
Probation denied
Russell Johnson (1992) pleaded guilty Feb. 4 in LaRue Circuit Court to several counts. He entered a plea to an amended count of first-degree trafficking in controlled substance with a recommended sentence of two years; first-degree possession of controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence, with recommended sentence of two years; buy or possession of drug paraphernalia, with recommended sentence of six months; fleeing or evading police, second degree, with a recommended sentence of 12 months; resisting arrest, with recommended sentence of six months; and no operator license, with recommended sentence of 45 days, with all time to run concurrently for two years. Final sentencing held. Probation denied.
Guilty plea
Demetric W. Lee (1991) pleaded guilty Feb. 4 in LaRue Circuit Court to two amended counts of attempt to commit burglary, third degree, with a recommended sentence of 12 months; third-degree criminal mischief, with recommended sentence of 45 days; and third-degree terroristic threatening, with recommended sentence of 45 days.
Final sentencing was held; order of conditional discharge was signed. He was fined $440.
