 Failed to appear

Jeremy S. Veatch (1987) failed to appear Nov. 19 in LaRue Circuit Court. A bench warrant was issued and bond was set at $360. Bond to be applied to financial conditions. He was declared a fugitive. 

Veatch was ordered to pay for damages to the Lincoln as a Boy statue after he struck it with his car in 2011. The case will be reviewed April 1.

 

Pleaded guilty

 Derrick Deion Saunders (1985) pleaded guilty Nov. 16 to two counts of complicity, second-degree forgery; two counts of complicity, second-degree criminal possession of forged instrument; and two counts of complicity, theft by unlawful taking. Recommended sentence is two years on first four counts and 12 months on the final two charges to run concurrently for a total of two years. Time to run concurrently with sentences in Caldwell, Jefferson and Hardin Counties. Other counts dismissed. Pre-sentencing investigation ordered. Final sentencing is Feb. 4.

 

Guilty plea

David H. Spalding (1993) of Hodgenville pleaded guilty Nov. 16 to five counts of third-degree terroristic threatening. Recommended sentence is 12 months with all time to run concurrently for a total sentence of 12 months. Commonwealth’s Attorney recommends the sentence be conditionally discharged. Final sentencing conducted.
