LaRue County Judge/Executive Tommy Turner spent most of his time at the April 13 candidate forum describing the improvements made to the county during his tenure – and what he’d like to see in the future.
“I think we’ve done quite well,” Turner said.
He said 25 years ago when he took office, the county roads were rated 40th in the state – they’re now fourth. All bridges have been brought up to weight-bearing codes.
