Have you been told you have diabetes, need to lose weight or just need to learn how to eat healthy? The program “Managing Your Meals” will be 1:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Lincoln Trail District Health Department, 108 New Glendale Road, Elizabethtown. Hardin Memorial Hospital’s Wellness on Wheels mobile health unit will be available 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at Hometown IGA. No charge for blood pressure, blood glucose, body mass index, body fat analysis and weight. Osteoporosis bone density heel screening is $20; cholesterol panel is $20. Christmas on the Square – Dec. 1
Festivities and caroling on Lincoln Square in Hodgenville will begin about 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1. Lighting up the Square and Creekfront Park will be about 6 p.m. Santa will arrive in Hodgenville City Hall about 6 p.m. He will visit with children about an hour. Area churches will present a live nativity at 7 p.m. at the Hodgenville Civic Center.
Holiday Home Tour
The Hodgenville Woman’s Club will hold a Holiday Home Tour 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1. A tasting party will be held at the clubhouse on Lincoln Square from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
New Haven Christmas parade
The New Haven Christmas parade is 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. The theme is “A Storybook Christmas.” The best float will be awarded $500.
