Project Graduation Committee meets
The LaRue County Project Graduation Committee will meet 6 p.m. March 12 in the high school cafeteria. Any senior parent is welcome. Free Movie Night – Rise of the Guardians

Wellness on Wheels
Hardin Memorial Hospital’s Wellness on Wheels mobile health unit will be available 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. March 18 at Hometown IGA in Hodgenville. No charge for blood pressure, blood glucose, body mass index, body fat analysis, dermaview skin analysis and weight. Colorectal take-home kit is $5. Cholesterol panel is $20. Blood drive in Sonora
A blood drive will be held 3-7 p.m. March 19 at First Baptist Church, 709 Main Street, Sonora. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in.

The LaRue County Republican Party will meet 7 p.m. March 19 at Greater Works Church (behind The Lincoln Museum) in Hodgenville.
Relay for Life Survivors Dinner
The LaRue County Relay for Life County Committee is sponsoring a free dinner to honor cancer survivors. The dinner is 6:30 p.m. March 21 at First Baptist Church Hodgenville, 730 Tonieville Road. Sister Rita Jerrell, a Hero of Hope from the Louisville area, will speak. Invitations have been mailed to known survivors; however, anyone who has survived or is battling cancer is welcome to attend. Reservations are being accepted through March 15.
County cleanup set for March 22-23
County cleanup is noon to 4 p.m. March 22 and 8 a.m.-noon March 23 at the County Maintenance Facility across from LaRue County High School. No early birds. Easter egg hunt at Fairgrounds
The LaRue County Fairgrounds on Greensburg Street, Hodgenville, will have an Easter egg hunt at noon on March 23. Games, prizes, children’s movie available. Drug take-back
A drug take-back will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 13 in the lower parking lot of the LaRue County Courthouse. Outdated or unneeded prescription or over-the-counter drugs can be disposed of at the event, which is sponsored by the LaRue County Sheriff’s office, Solid Waste Management and Drug Task Force.
Waste tire amnesty
