 The Christmas story is very familiar. Because of this there is the danger that we will say, “I’ve heard that story for many years.”  

Having heard it many times before may cause us to tune it out this Christmas.

Don’t stop reading, but consider the familiar story once again. The Christmas story begins before the foundation of the world. Prophecy after prophecy is found in the Old Testament saying Christ would be born to die for our sins.
