It’s good to see the City of Hodgenville and the LaRue County Park and Recreation Board working together to make improvements at the city-owned park.
During a recent week, city workers provided many hours of service to make sure the swimming pool opened as planned, while volunteers put playing fields in order.
More recently, the City donated a surplus truck to the Park to replace one with way-too-many miles on it.
A nice scenario. That’s the way it is supposed to work in a small community.
