The Apostle Paul says love “does not act unbecomingly” (I Corinthians 13:5 NASB).

The New Living Translation of the Bible uses the word “rude.” J. B. Phillips in his Biblical translation of this scripture verse says, “Love practices good manners.” This verse may seem strange when the world is torn apart by hatred, oppression and conflicts. What is so important about politeness?
