Color Run raises money for charities

The regional domestic violence shelter hopes to raise funds through a benefit road race that doubles as a five-kilometer, sugar-coated kalideoscope of color.
The Color Run is scheduled for 50 cities this year and already has made 23 commitments next year, including Louisville, Indianapolis and St. Louis. The events raise money for charities and the SpringHaven domestic violence shelter's board of directors are trying to get Elizabethtown on the 2013 schedule.
