Hodgenville City Police are investigating a “big boom” that startled several individuals about 9:10 p.m. Jan. 2.
According to dispatch, three people from West Maple Avenue, Forresta Court and Kirkpatrick Avenue called 911 to report “a loud noise” or possible explosion.
Sgt. Marcus Jackson investigated and patrolled the area but did not find anything, said Police Chief Steve Johnson.
Stephanie Simpson said she heard the noise and thought it was an explosion.
