Hodgenville City Council voted to refinance a bond through Kentucky Rural Water Finance Corporation that will save the City about $12,000 on the life of a loan.
Hodgenville Mayor Terry Cruse told the Council Dec. 10 that $1.249 million was borrowed in 2004 through an amended assistance agreement.
The bond has been paid down to about $750,000, according to City Clerk MaDonna Hornback.
