City Council votes to establish tourism commission
Last month, Hodgenville City Council agreed to draw up a restaurant tax ordinance with first reading occurring in June.
However, in Monday’s meeting, Mayor Terry Cruse said he had learned that a seven-member tourist and convention commission had to be in force before a 2 percent restaurant tax could be enacted.
