Hodgenville City Councilman Jim Phelps ended a standoff between the City and Hodgenville Main Street Monday by making a motion that the City pay the outstanding bills of the volunteer group.
Main Street was dissolved by Hodgenville Mayor Terry Cruse earlier this year after its contract expired. The volunteers were ordered to settle debts and make other restitutions “as required by law.”
