National Day of Prayer
National Day of Prayer will be observed 10:30 a.m. May 7 at Hodgenville City Hall, 200 South Lincoln Boulevard. Bring a finger food to share for brunch, followed by a program of prayer. The event is sponsored by Hardin County Christian Women’s Connection, but everyone is invited.

Overcomers to perform
Overcomers will perform 7:30 p.m. May 8 at Hodgenville Civic Center, 200 S. Lincoln Blvd. For more information, call Rev. Richard T. Binkley at 270-358-4436.

Men’s conference in Glendale
New Horizon Baptist Church, 864 West Rhudes Creek Road, Glendale will host a men’s conference May 8-9. Six churches are involved with sessions at 6 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Speakers will include pastors Joe Jolly, Rodney Troutman, Larry Johnson, Dwayne Mollison, Shannon McCubbins and Steve Hill. Dr. Michael Greenwell will also speak. A fee of $10 will pay for breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Register at newhorizonbaptist.org and click on “men’s conference.”

Anniversary celebration at Rolling Fork
Rolling Fork Baptist Church, Hwy. 462, Gleanings, will celebrate its 214th anniversary with a special service at 10:30 a.m. May 17, followed by a potluck on the grounds. The church will furnish the meat and the drinks. The dinner will be followed by a Bluegrass Gospel concert by the Exie Boys. Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University, will be the keynote speaker.

Faithful Citizenship luncheon
“Kentucky General Assembly: Review, Preview” is the topic of the Faithful Citizenship luncheon discussion, noon-1 p.m. May 19, at St. Thomas Parish Center, 870 St. Thomas Lane, Bardstown. Jason Hall, executive director of Catholic Conference of Kentucky, will speak. There is no charge to attend. Bring a brown bag lunch; drinks will be provided. Homecoming at Pike View Baptist
Pike View Baptist Church will have a homecoming service 10 a.m. May 24. No Sunday school. Rev. David Miller and Rocky Talley will sing. Volunteers are invited to sing. Bro. Miller will bring the message. Dinner will follow. For more information, call 270-991-7987.

Hope Food Pantry
The Hope Food Pantry at Hodgenville United Methodist Church, 825 Tonieville Road, will distribute food to LaRue County residents 4:30-6 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. Participants must show proof of income. For more information, call Susan Phelps at 270-358-9328.
