Revival will be 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at First Baptist Church Hodgenville. The evangelist will be the Rev. Virgil Hill, pastor of First Baptist Church, Harrodsburg.

Earth Day overview

“Kentucky Energy Policy: an Earth Day 2010 Overview” will be the Faithful Citizenship Luncheon topic noon-1 p.m. April 20 in Maloney Room of the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, 5th and W. Stephen Foster Blvd., Bardstown.   Participants are asked to bring a brown bag lunch; drinks will be provided. This event is sponsored by Catholic Charities’ Parish Social Ministry Department. Gospel singing at First Baptist

Hodgenville First Baptist Church on Tonieville Road will hold a community gospel singing 7 p.m. April 24. The event is presented by The Heartland Quartet and will feature a choir of more than 80 southern gospel singers. For more information, call Bill Twyman at 358-0002.
