Community Thanksgiving service
A community Thanksgiving service will be hosted by LaRue County Ministerial Association 7 p.m. Nov. 24 at First Baptist Church, Tonieville Road. For more information, call Bro. Andrew Singh at 325-3740.
Mt Tabor Baptist, Buffalo Baptist and Wesley Meadows Methodist Community Thanksgiving service will be 7 p.m. Nov. 25 at Wesley Meadows United Methodist Church.
South Fork Baptist Church will provide free Thanksgiving meals 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 26 for anyone in LaRue County. These meals will be buffet style for eating in; delivery is also available. If you know a family that needs a meal, provide their name, address, phone number and the number of meals needed to South Fork Baptist Church. For more information, call 325-3626.
First Baptist Church Hodgenville will provide free Thanksgiving meals 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 26 for anyone in LaRue County. Call 358-3193 to make reservations. Delivery offered to those unable to come to the church.
Hanging of the Green at Buffalo
Buffalo Baptist Church will host a Hanging of the Green pre-Christmas service 6 p.m. Nov. 29. The service includes proclamations, songs, prayers and lighting of candles and decoration of the tree. There will be refreshments and a time of fellowship after the service. Call 325-3820 for information.
Lowell Mason in concert
Lowell Mason will appear at 6 p.m. Nov. 29 at Rolling Fork Christian Church. There is no admission charge but a free-will offering will be received. For more information, call Bro. Tim Underhill at 502-827-3061.
Friendship Baptist hanging of the greens

First Baptist music and dinner
The Music Ministry of First Baptist Church, Hodgenville, will present a music and drama program “An Evening in December” 7 p.m. Dec. 19 and 20. A candlelight dinner will be served at 6 p.m. each night. Dinner reservations can be made at 358-3193. Donations will be accepted.
