In Revelation 11:12, the witnesses are resurrected.
“Now after the three-and-a-half days, the breath of life from God entered them and they stood on their feet and great fear fell on those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from Heaven saying to them, ‘Come up here.’ And they ascended to Heaven in a cloud and their enemies saw them.”
Revelation 11:15-19 describes the seventh trumpet and the kingdom proclaimed: “The Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ and He shall reign forever and ever.”
Although Satan is temporarily the god of this age or world (II Corinthians 4:4), Christ is going to take back this planet and set up a new one, according to some thinkers. Satan’s days are numbered and Jesus Christ is going to conquer the kingdoms of this present world and set up his eternal kingdom. The people on earth are in rebellion from God and they have tried to lock him out of their whole world system with its governments, schools, science, arts and social systems. However, Jesus will crush the rebellion, which is a rebellion against love.
In Revelation 12:1-6, the woman, the child and the dragon are discussed. The dispensationalist interpretation teaches that the woman is national Israel and the 12 stars symbolize the 12 tribes of Israel. The woman is pictured as being in labor and about to give birth to a faithful Jewish remnant. The red dragon is Satan and the seven diadems identify him with the last of the Gentile world rulers. The woman no longer represents the messianic community that brought forth the messiah, but is now the church that the messiah brought forth. National Israel is supernaturally protected during the great tribulation.
